Induline AT, manufactured by Westvaco / Ingevity Corporation USA, is a premium-grade expander designed for use in lead-acid battery production. As an unsulfonated kraft lignin, it provides exceptional purity and stability, ensuring uniform blending within the paste mix.
In negative plate formulations, Induline AT works synergistically with materials such as Barium Sulfate and Carbon Black to improve active material adhesion and electron flow. By controlling crystal growth and preventing sulfation, it enables longer battery life and better recharging capability.
Its fine powder form ensures smooth dispersion in both dry and wet mixing processes, resulting in consistent paste rheology and enhanced plate performance. Induline AT is widely recognized for its contribution to longer battery cycle life, improved charge efficiency, and greater overall stability in tubular and inverter batteries.
